Family time!

On Sunday we decided to take some time out for family time and drove to Florence after church! We had lunch together, spent some time in a great toy store, took in the scenery and had coffee ("foffee") together. It was short and sweet, but a perfect day!!

Saturday we got to go to a friends birthday party at the park...the girls were so excited! Here are a few photos of our fun day!

First Days of School

Last week we started another school year! We have a true preschooler and a toddler. Both of the girls were very excited to have school supplies to take with them and to have new school shoes to show off. All in all the first few weeks of school have been successful...Chloe is learning to write so much and Allyson is almost completely potty trained!

Trip to the Portland Zoo

At the end of August we stopped for a family trip at the Portland Zoo! We had a great time all together...it was so much fun to watch our girls see the animals and be interested in them and excited about everything around them. (The last time we were there, Chloe slept through 75% of it!) All in all it was a great way to end our summer before the mad-rush of September!

A stop at the beach...

Monday we drove to Tillamook with the Grandparents as they started out their '2009 Summer Harley Ride' and stayed at the coolest beach house in Netarts! We headed home on Tuesday with Papa Bear and Grandma Jackie (who are joining the group again next week) and stopped at the beach for a stretch and some energy burning...Chloe would have been wet from head to toe if we had let her and Allyson took a few minutes to decide if "gritty-wet stuff" was okay on her feet and then was fast into with Papa and Chloe!!
