Allyson Ryan

Allyson Ryan is now 3! She is full of life and energy 24/7. She is an observer, detail oriented, bossy and thoughtful girl...she is the teachers assistant! (For some reason Grandma Sue says her Mom was just the same!) She spends her week participating in ballet and creative movement, going to school with 20 friends, loves taking care of her brother and playing with her cousin Asher. She loves to play legos, tinkertoys and barbies. One of her favorite days of the week is Sunday...she loves singing with Grandma Debbie and eating donuts with Papa Bear (Mike).

Ally is getting so BIG!

Today, when I picked up Ally and her report card for the day...I was told that she knows how to say BUBBLE. What?!? I quickly tried it out...and she came right back with "bubble". I didn't cry, but I quickly realized how fast she is growing up and that she is not a baby.

She's walking now...

...and now I am asking, "where did she go?" Ally took off on Monday and never looked back. She often goes faster than her legs can handle, tumbles, but gets right back up and goes again. Chloe is liking the little sister that can keep up with her...but give her another week and I am sure she'll be wondering when she can have her stuff all to herself again. The trick now is to get her liking shoes...she doesn't quite understand that they complete any outfit she might wear. :)

Pool Time!!

After we spent the day at the fair we came back for a 'pool party' for the girls' friend, Rhema. This was Ally's first time in a swimming pool and Chloe ventured off of the diving board! I am not sure how to deal with a 2 1/2 year old who has no fear of the water??

A Little Bit of Cake

Happy Birthday to you....and she was off!!! We had barely finished singing and both hands were covered with frosting and headed towards her mouth. Allyson loved every bit of each bite!!

Allyson is "1"

I can't believe my baby turned 1 on me. She just went and did it. Now what do I do?!? I have a little girl who is practically walking, jibber-jabbering about everything she sees and becoming more independent by the hour! We celebrated Ally's birthday with an Alice in Wonderland party. If any of you know Jason and I even the slightest, you quickly learn we enjoy very much putting on a party/shin-dig with all the trimmings and little things no-one would even think about. Well, in true fashion we'd been planning this first birthday for well over 10 months (so do the math, she was 2 months old and we had the theme chosen!). We had the outdoor decorations bought, the games set up, the seating arranged just so, the table centerpieces perfect and the large white circus tent (no joke) all ready to go in our backyard! Let the party...I mean the wind blow friends! Yep, that morning we woke up with the wind blowing like crazy. The true optimist I am...thinking it'll be better by 3 o'clock. After picking up some of the coolest large playing cards ever seen for the 12th time...I decided we needed to move it inside our house. Oh, my!! Short end to the story...it was perfect how it happened. We had our family and friends (most of them anyway!!) there to celebrate with us...and hey, we have next years theme already in the works! So stay tuned for more party planning with the Moore's!

Ally is growing so fast. She had her two month check up this week. We cannot believe how fast the days and weeks go by. Ally is a little charmer. She smiles and talks to anyone who'll look her way, even for a second. The baby blues she has captures many on-lookers! Her legs are beginning to kick her over onto her side...she'll be rolling before we know it. One of our favorite things about her is her RED hair! We are hoping the red stays, which comes from my (Kara's) Dad's side. Chloe absolutely adores her and wants to help her do anything and everything.
