One Long Month of Festivities!!

Sisters!!

What could be next in there?

One of Allyson's favorite things..playdough...
look at how excited she is!

Allyson decided she needed to sample the milk and
cookies they left out for Santa!

Here you go Santa!

So precise in decorating! (Gets that from Dad!)

of where everything needed to go!

Dad and his girls!

Finding the perfect tree...includes hiding amongst them too!

I decided now would be better than any other time to post some photos from our busy and very full month of December. Looking back we wouldn't do anything different, we wouldn't add or take anything away...all in all it was a perfect month. Christmas gets better and better as the kids get older, realizing this year it is all for them now, and that is just fine with us! Hope you enjoy the photos!

We had a great few days of many festivities! We got to kick of the festivities at school with a full day of pumpkins, candy, apples, movies and costume parades! On Saturday we started the day off celebrating Grandma Debbie's birthday with a family brunch of the most delicious pumpkin waffles. (Can't wait to have them again.) Then we were off to the 1st birthday of our dear little Jophiy...what a blast, all the kids were dressed up and rotating through "carnival like" games...we stopped to trick-or-treat with Chloe's buddy, Addi, on our way home, and poor Allyson was asleep two minutes down the road. So the two older girls hit up a few houses with Great Papa Bob! Naps, naps and naps were desperately needed by all at this point...but back up in time to get some more treats! Hit up the grandparents and the few families from the church that were near by and we called it quits. What a full day...but so much fun, especially now that the girls are "getting into it"!!

Family time!

On Sunday we decided to take some time out for family time and drove to Florence after church! We had lunch together, spent some time in a great toy store, took in the scenery and had coffee ("foffee") together. It was short and sweet, but a perfect day!!

A day at the park...

Saturday we got to go to a friends birthday party at the park...the girls were so excited! Here are a few photos of our fun day!

First Days of School

Last week we started another school year! We have a true preschooler and a toddler. Both of the girls were very excited to have school supplies to take with them and to have new school shoes to show off. All in all the first few weeks of school have been successful...Chloe is learning to write so much and Allyson is almost completely potty trained!

Trip to the Portland Zoo

At the end of August we stopped for a family trip at the Portland Zoo! We had a great time all together...it was so much fun to watch our girls see the animals and be interested in them and excited about everything around them. (The last time we were there, Chloe slept through 75% of it!) All in all it was a great way to end our summer before the mad-rush of September!
